Karim works with the investment team and Partners at Ethos to support portfolio companies on leadership, scaling, and transformation.
A recognized voice on leadership, he draws on 28 years of operating and consulting experience. He is currently the Managing Partner at Konstellation Advisory, a boutique firm for Executive Assessments, CEO/Founder Coaching, and Executive Search. He currently partners with Founders/CEOs and boards backed by private equity and venture capital, including Cinven, Eurazeo, and Apax.
Karim previously served as Chief People Officer at Lilium, an electric mobility (eVTOL) company where he led the organization through scaling and professionalization following its IPO listing on Nasdaq. He also spent 11 years in executive search at Egon Zehnder as a Partner and Lead for the private equity technology practice between Europe and the US. His career began in marketing and commercial roles at Diageo and Sony Ericsson.
As a moderator, Karim has interviewed some of the world’s most influential leaders, including Michelle Obama and Amal Clooney, as well as the CEOs and Founders from Datadog, Hugging Face, Parallel Web Systems, Uber, Signal messaging, and AMD (CTO). Additionally, he’s an active angel investor with a portfolio of 20+ early-stage disruptive companies.
